"Reclaim the Algorithm" means vigorously pursuing and molding tech to drive health outcomes, health equity, and superior patient/member experiences. It's our rallying call for change agents and skeptics who believe optimism can only be earned through conscious, careful decisions.

Modular Feedback's founder, Chris Hemphill, has 18+ years experience in healthcare technology (sales, operations, and data science) and 8+ years experience building healthcare AI. This experience spans roles within health tech, health plan, and academic spaces serving payer & provider markets.

Highlights:

Responsible AI: Commercialized a responsible AI clinical algorithm for patient outreach, combining machine learning, race/sex bias mitigration, and a partnership with U. of Chicago's Center for Applied AI
Performance and Product Adoption: Drove hospital adoption for AI tooling from 14% to 100%, partly due to the aforementioned responsible AI initiative
AI Product Leadership: Led development of Social Drivers of Health product based on millions of conversations with a digital mental health tool
Policy & Research Partnership: Health AI fellow at one of NYU's largest research institutions, The McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research
End-to-end Development: Developed & launched SCAN Health Plan's provider data auditing system, which combines web browsing agents, data science, UX, and a custom API for a first-in-class to assess and address provider data risks
